Since 2008, I have been a proud user of AKG acoustic’s large diaphragm condenser microphones. I first experienced different brands until I found myself recording at a good friend’s project studio. He was using the AKG Perception 220 coupled with a Behringer PMP 6000 20 track mixer. The result was a warm, clean, and crisp recording. Since then, I have purchased and used the AKG P120 and the P220 models in my own project studios.

I have had the privilege of recording, with great success, professional quality vocals. With high nods not only from peers, but industry professionals as well, I must say that the AKG Perception line is a great tool for project and professional studios. AKG has managed to produce a sturdy piece of equipment with an audio frequency bandwidth of 20 to 20000 Hz. The Perception models also features -20 db preattenuation pad, bass cut filter, and an equivalent noise level of 16 db-A. With great specs and a sturdy casing built to last whether you’re recording at home, professional studio, or on the go. The AKG Perception line is a solid line of condenser microphones for anyone looking for to produce great recordings with a low noise level.
